Today we started weaving to get ready for the small potlatch we will be having in May. It is also called a "tleetsoo". We had one last year. People ate, danced and gave speeches. We will each ahve a job to do and we need to decide by next Friday what we'd like to do. The weaving is going well. It is complicated and harder than I thought it would be, but it's getting easier.
During Library time Mr. Lussier introduced some new books. The Goose Girl book sounded interesting to me. We had a Math test today on Clock Fractions. I think I did well. We also made tesselations which are shapes that have to fit together without gaps. You should colour them brightly.
In Art we are drawing portraits of ourselves in Pablo Picasso's abstract style. It is hard because we have to draw ourselves but in abstract.
At the end of the day we read a little bit of Dear Jo and then answered some questions, then read outside in the sun.
